Adam Lance has been part of the Chicago music scene for over fifteen years, singing with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Chicago Opera Theater, and as the front man for bands like Social Focus, Of Perception (Doors Tribute), and Without U2 (U2 Tribute). This has taken him from the House of Blues in Chicago to Carnegie Hall in New York City.
He has studied with John Wustman, sung under the batons of Riccardo Muti, Marin Alsop, and Lorin Maazel, as well as participated in masterclasses with Thomas Hampson, George Shirley, and Maria Lagios.
His undergraduate voice teacher is Yoko Shimazaki-Kilburn (Ball State University), and his graduate voice teacher is Bruce Hall (formerly at Northwestern University).
