Emily

Musical Theatre & Pop Vocals

Emily specializes in a multitude of styles, including musical theatre, legit, and pop.  Emily is certified in Evidence Based Voicework Pedagogy, and is pursuing her Masters of Music in Vocal Pedagogy- with an emphasis in Contemporary Commercial Music- at Shenandoah Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Additionally, she has been a teaching assistant for Kevin Covert's Acting Through Song class. Emily is a working actor and stays active in the industry. This is what makes Emily the multifaceted, fully equipped teacher for musical theatre students. She is extremely passionate about vocal pedagogy, and hopes to see you singing soon!

Crystal

Voice and Piano

Crystal is a musician and teacher with over ten years of professional experience. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a BA in Vocal Performance, but her musical training started long before that, when she began studying piano in her youth.  She has had the pleasure of singing at Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra, as well as the Bass Hall and Casa Mañana in Fort Worth.  Crystal is also a singer-songwriter and recording artist, with original music on all the major streaming services.

As a music teacher, her number one goal is to inspire students to continue learning for years to come.  She tailors her lessons to the individual student depending on their unique needs and goals.  She has seen many students successfully through Royal Conservatory of Music exams, as well as taught in the musical theater and popular music genres.  She takes a positive approach to teaching and believes that lessons are most effective when they are fun, safe and engaging.

Loree

Piano

Loree is very passionate about teaching children to play and love music and has over thirty years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Education from Arizona State University. Loree's background I background includes television performance, recording, a studio partnership with the Steinway Gallery, as well as teaching music in the public school system. Loree enjoys teaching teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced students, and is proficient in classical, pop, rock, gospel, jazz, and country keyboard piano styles. She believe that music is beneficial on many levels for all ages, and that music reaches and engages each and every one of us!

 

Christina

Piano and Harp

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in music and has been playing piano since the age of five. Performance experience includes being an accompanist in Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Canada and churches. She plays Harp and Celtic harp in orchestras and churches. Other performance activities include symphonic choir, symphonic band, Hand Bell Choirs and Choruses. Specializing in classical music, she is a Steinway Piano artist. Christina speaks English, Spanish and has a basic working knowledge of basic German.

Angelita

Piano

Angelita is a Peruvian Pianist who started playing the piano at the age of four. Her natural ability to play the keys at such a young age captivated the attention of Carlos La Torre, a well-known pianist and alumni of the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, who prepared her for the Conservatory and got accepted at the age of eight years old in second place where she studied under the guidance of Professor Carlota Bravo. Her passion and love for music made her pursue her career abroad, she graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, magna cum Laude, under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Baron; and she was a Graduate Assistant that culminated her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance at the University of South Florida under the guidance of Dr. Svetozar Ivanov.

Angelita has participated and performed in many renowned festivals such us Huanuco International Music Festival in Peru, Corzi Internazionali di Musica in Perugia - Italy, International Piano Masterclasses in Katowice - Poland, Summer Music Study in Szeged -Hungary, and Brancaleoni International Music Festival in Brancaleoni - Italy, to name a few.

Under her awards she received twice First Place in the concerto competition sponsored

by the National Conservatory of Music in Peru, she won the first prize in the Jillian Prescott Competition where she had her debut with the Southwest Symphony Orchestra. She received

Second Place in the Steinway Competition sponsored by the School of Music at the University of

South Florida. Recently, Angelita was a finalist in the Osaka International Competition.

Last fall 2022, Angelita started her Doctoral in Music Performance and Pedagogy with

Dr. Annie Jeng at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. As a pedagogue, she has a

strong passion for teaching students of various levels and is committed to educating and inspiring young musicians advocating diversity and inclusion. Her teaching philosophy is to become a mentor and role model for her students and to encourage self-exploration, critical thinking, and collaboration. Angelita Berdiales together with her Colleague Patricia Garcia Gil recently won an award on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Access (EDIA) where they will organize a project/concert titled Honoring Hispanic Cultures through Music, by bringing a diverse music program from all the different cultures of Latin America and Spain.
